Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities
As a Finance Intern, you will support the Controlling team in the analysis and monitoring of Prototype and Tooling financial performance. This role is designed to provide broad exposure to industrial controlling while offering flexibility compatible with academic commitments.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Support financial analysis for Prototype and Tooling P&L, including cost tracking and variance analysis
Assist with actual vs. forecast / budget comparisons
Prepare recurring financial reports and ad‑hoc analyses for the controlling team
Contribute to the reliability and consistency of financial data used by management
Cost & Performance Monitoring
Support costing activities related to prototype and tooling operations
Help analyze margins, spending deviations, and cost drivers
Participate in productivity and cost optimization analyses
Support monitoring of financial KPIs relevant to Prototype and Tooling activities
Business & Cross‑Functional Support
Act as a finance interface with operations, engineering, and purchasing teams
Support data collection and validation in collaboration with Shared Services
Contribute to financial awareness through clear and structured analyses
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to reporting and data quality
Tools & Processes
Work with Excel and SAP
Support improvements in financial tracking and reporting templates
Assist in ensuring alignment with internal finance procedures and basic internal controls
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical mindset and interest in industrial finance
Solid Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables; Power BI is a plus)
Ability to work with data and translate numbers into clear conclusions
Good communication skills and ability to interact with non‑finance stakeholders
Organized, reliable and eager to learn
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2.8 GPA.
