Brentwood Hospital is a 260‑bed psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment facility located in Shreveport, Louisiana. It serves Louisiana, East Texas and South Arkansas for more than 45 years, providing quality services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors.
Responsibilities
Complete nursing assessment thoroughly and in a timely manner within facility guidelines. Assessment includes all required screenings and components.
Understand and support risk management and infection control policies and procedures.
Intervene appropriately in crisis situations.
Provide age‑appropriate care to the various populations served.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Associates degree in nursing.
Experience: Experience in a behavioral health hospital or outpatient setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed to practice by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing – RN required.
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday.
