Overview
This is a full-time (60 hrs/week) position at Scripps Memorial Encinitas with 5 12 hour shifts/2 weeks. Some shifts will support PACU. Bonus Eligible* Call required

Responsibilities
Monitor patient prior to and after the procedures
Assist physicians during Cath procedures (both scheduled and emergency) angioplasties, pacemaker implantation and other cardiac procedures
Administer medications and update patient charts
Watch for signs of infection and side effects from procedure
Call
One weekday 7p-7a and 24 hour weekend call every 7 weeks.
Incentives
$4K New Hire Incentive and $3K Relocation if moving from 100+ miles.

The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:
Internal candidates
Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
Retention incentive criteria
Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
Must remain in original department/specialty
Must remain in original Job Title
Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Qualifications
Required:
1 year of recent experience as an RN in the Cath Lab, ICU, and/or ED
Current CA RN license
BLS and ACLS for the Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Ability to demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred:
Two (2) years Cath Lab and EP procedures
Ability to handle high stress situations
