Liberty Health Care Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our dietary department. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do
Oversee daily operations of the dietary department
Ensure meals are prepared and served according to physician orders, dietary needs, and preferences
Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility dietary regulations
Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff
Monitor food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams on resident nutritional needs and care plans
Ensure accurate documentation and completion of required dietary records
Qualifications (Required For Consideration)
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Active Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification (required)
Must be eligible to work in this role in accordance with federal and state regulations
Knowledge of dietary practices, procedures, and regulations in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting (required)
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
Preferred Experience
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a dietary department within a hospital, nursing facility, or healthcare setting
Experience managing staff, scheduling, and departmental operations
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
