Job Summary
Seeking a Limited Practice Radiographer/Medical Assistant to provide expertise and champion patient care. The role involves performing essential imaging and support tasks in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.

Perform all x‑ray/imaging services according to provider orders and update patient charts accordingly.

Collect patient history and document in the EHR.

Apply splints, dressings, and bandages.

Assist with check‑in/check‑out and audit charts when needed.

Maintain records and logs on activities including radiology, in‑house lab work, drug screens, and external lab work.

Keep patients and visitors informed about clinic progress.

Qualifications

1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting (helpful).

Experience using an EHR system (beneficial).

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or approved BOTP (required).

Licensed Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited Practice Radiographer (LPR/LMRT) in the state of residency (required).

Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.

Current BLS certification required within 30 days of start.

Obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
