Veterinary Technician for ICU Day Shift – Veterinary Specialty Hospital

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus available

Provide end‑to‑end care for our patients, including outpatient treatments, laboratory tests, surgery assistance, client communication, and record maintenance.

Role Responsibilities:

Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.

Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.

Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act for certified veterinary technicians.

Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and provide guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional services.

Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records with the practice system support.

Obtain and document relevant health history and information from clients.

Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.

Mentor and support fellow team members.

Experience & Skills Requirements:

Prefer one year of recent experience in an emergency or specialty setting.

Commitment to working within a team environment.

Positive, will‑do attitude.

Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.

Proven ability to multi‑task in a busy work setting.

Professional demeanor and outgoing personality.
