Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applicants for a Limited-term faculty position in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry within the College of Science and Mathematics. This position will be housed on the Gainesville Campus. Please be advised that any offer of employment is contingent upon your eligibility to work in the United States. The university is aware of recent federal changes that may significantly increase the cost of filing H-1B visa petitions. As a public institution, the university’s ability to cover such costs is subject to budgetary constraints and state funding policies. Responsibilities
Responsible for teaching courses within the department of Chemistry and Biochemistry; service to the Department, College, University, and community or scholarship including research with undergraduates.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in chemistry or a related field.
Applicants will be expected to have the expertise necessary to teach Survey of Chemistry I & II and the associated laboratories; Principles of Chemistry I & II and the associated laboratories; with the possibility of teaching Organic Chemistry I and the associated laboratory.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD and previous teaching experience in a higher education setting is preferred.
