CNC Production Machinist
Job Location: Coldwater, Ohio (US‑OH)
Starting Pay: $27.31 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM (10‑hour shifts, including evenings, nights, and/or overnight)
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Responsibilities
Operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Perform routine machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
Use manual measuring tools and gauges to inspect parts for accuracy and quality.
Monitor production output to ensure efficiency and adherence to production targets.
Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or equipment issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals.
Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of machining experience preferred.
Basic math and measurement skills (fractions, decimals, tolerances).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and part prints.
Familiarity with CNC lathes and mills preferred (training provided for qualified candidates).
Experience using manual gauges and measuring equipment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work 10‑hour shifts, including evenings, nights, and/or overnight schedules.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
