They are looking to add an Assistant Construction Manager to support the execution of complex, fast‑paced projects where uptime, safety, precision, and schedule certainty are non‑negotiable.
This is a strong opportunity for a construction professional who wants deep exposure to data center builds, critical systems, and best‑in‑class EPC delivery.
The Role
You’ll support senior Construction and Project leadership across the full lifecycle of mission‑critical construction projects, from pre‑construction planning through commissioning, turnover, and close‑out.
Working closely with Construction Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers, and EPC Program Managers, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in environments involving critical power, redundancy, sequencing, and highly coordinated trade execution.
Key Responsibilities
Support day‑to‑day execution of safety, quality, schedule, and cost control on mission‑critical sites
Assist with implementation of Project Execution Plans, QA/QC plans, and site‑specific Safety & Health Plans
Support subcontractor coordination, RFPs, bid packages, pre‑qualification, and contract administration
Assist with RFIs, submittals, drawing releases, design changes, and change management
Help coordinate site mobilization/demobilization and logistics in live or high‑security environments
Support cost reporting, schedule tracking, earned value, and cash‑flow analysis
Assist with commissioning support, turnover documentation, warranties, and close‑out activities
Collaborate with Superintendents and Site Managers to ensure subcontractor compliance with strict safety, quality, and schedule requirements
Support materials management, equipment coordination, and inventory control
Help analyze labor productivity, crew rates, unit rates, and labor burdens specific to mission‑critical delivery
Assist with onboarding and coordination of field supervision and craft labor
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of construction or project delivery experience
Exposure to data centers, critical facilities, industrial, power, or technical infrastructure is strongly preferred
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in fast‑paced, schedule‑driven environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling, cost control, or construction management software preferred
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
Basic understanding of construction cost controls and GAAP fundamentals
Willingness to be site‑based as required by project demands
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
100% employee‑owned EPC firm - employees directly benefit from company performance
Industry leader in mission‑critical and data center delivery
Exposure to large‑scale, technically complex builds with repeat hyperscale clients
Strong investment in training, mentorship, and long‑term career development
Known for low turnover, long project backlogs, and internal promotion
