About the Role
Registered Dietitian for a full‑time inpatient role at New York‑Presbyterian Queens, a 535‑bed academic medical center and Level 1 Trauma Center, in Queens, NY.
What You’ll Do
Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in med/surg units.
Be well versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification.
Work every 5th weekend and rotating holidays providing hospital‑wide coverage.
Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process.
Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.

Who You Are
Registered Dietitian credential.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
Master’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the ACEND.
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credential is required at the time of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
