Respiratory Therapist - GIG/Flex/Per Diem/PRN - Ardmore, OK and Surrounding Comm

Position Details
Job type: GIG (RRT or CRT)
Pay: $35/hr for RRT, $30/hr for CRT plus variable shift incentives
Work pattern: 4‑, 8‑, or 12‑hour shifts with flexibility in day or night.
W-2 employee.
No weekend, holiday, or mandatory shift requirement.
Responsibilities
Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician’s orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduate of a CoARC approved respiratory care program.
Meet state licensure requirements and hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential awarded by the NBRC.
For co‑workers in the emergency room, PALS is required. ACLS is required.
Minimum one year of experience, not including orientation.
Physical demands: can push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs, pinch up to 10 lbs, and kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
Preferred Experience
Critical care experience.
