Job Summary
Full Time, Days
Under the guidance of the Director/Manager, the supervisor manages the activities of technologists and students working or rotating through the department, including their discipline and performance while in that area. The supervisor assists with completing competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. In the absence of the IR supervisor, the supervisor monitors par levels, orders supplies, and places charges for patient exams and supplies. The supervisor is responsible for completion of the daily patient schedule and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging program. Preferred: Associate’s degree
Experience: 2 years clinical experience
License: RADIOGRAPHY (ARRT), CERTIFIED RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST (STATE LICENSE)
Certification: ACLS, BLS/CPR (American Heart Association)

St. Marys Medical Center (SMMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 420‑bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach. SMMC has served Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast for more than 80 years. It is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a state‑designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, and has a Level III NICU. Pediatric services are provided at the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital at St. Marys Medical Center, which is the only dedicated children’s hospital between Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando. The hospital provides 24/7 dedicated pediatric emergency and trauma care and employs 196 pediatricians in 36 subspecialties.
