Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with department requirements and state and specialty standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, provide personalized, comprehensive and compassionate care, follow nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage," and act as an advocate for patients, families and caregivers.
Responsibilities
Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status.
Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers and ensure thorough, timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses and take appropriate action for unintended responses.
Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs proactively, and resolve them.
Educate patients, families and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures, ensuring understanding by translating complex terminology.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start
RN Diploma or equivalent
No travel required
