Radiology Technologist ARRT PRN
Operates radiology imaging equipment to produce images of a patient’s body for diagnostic purposes and assist physicians with procedures in a sterile environment.
What you will do in this role:
Prepare the patient for a radiological procedure by positioning the patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into a specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation safety.
Operate diagnostic equipment, process images and prepare the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.
Ensure a positive patient encounter, including maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling patients, overseeing patient transportation, ordering supplies, and sustaining a healthy work environment.
Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology is required.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Radiology Technologist is highly preferred.
