Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details
Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Weekend rotation required (every other weekend)
Holiday coverage as needed
No call responsibilities
Patient ratio of 1:5-6 for days, nights, and weekends
May float between all hospital campuses if needed
Minimum 2 years of experience required (first-time travelers accepted with surgery/trauma experience preferred)
BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
EPIC experience required
Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
Specialize in care of stable trauma patients
Provide pre-op and post-op care for surgical patient population
Care for high volume patients including exploratory laps, hemi-colectomies, mastectomies, lap cholecystectomies, eye surgeries, trauma and plastic surgeries
Manage lower volume populations including GYN procedures, palliative care, 24-hour observation, and medical overflow patients
Use rapid response teams, blood product administration, and peripheral line care and management
Work with lift equipment, wound vacs, and Coude catheters
24-hour orientation provided
Unit has 32 beds with daily census of 30 patients
Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
Two pre-approved time off requests allowed per contract
