Finance Intern
This Finance Intern position will be located at Plant 5, Ti-Cast Operation in Whitehall, MI, and is full‑time.
Responsibilities
Compile daily reports for management
Participate in month‑end closing
Fixed asset audit – reporting improvements, analysis, and physical inventory
Support compliance efforts
The 2026 Summer Internship Program includes 10–14 weeks of structured, hands‑on training involving plant tours, lunch & learn seminars, networking events, and projects that add direct value to the business. At the conclusion of the program, each intern will present their projects to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors. The internship offers an invaluable experience that can be leveraged in any role, and Howmet's goal is to evaluate interns for potential entry‑level openings.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a Finance or Accounting related program at an accredited institution.
Minimum completion of sophomore‑level coursework by May 2026.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong Excel skills
