Patient Care Technician – Ortho Med/Surg – Fulltime Days
This opportunity is full-time at 36 hours per week, offers full benefits and a day shift schedule. There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Responsibilities
Perform various customer care activities and related services in the patient care area including monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry rhythm strips, receptionist and secretarial duties, and patient care tasks. Must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the facility.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Ability to read, write, and have working knowledge of medical terminology.

Completion of formal training program for Certified Nursing Assistants; possess state CNA certification.

As of 8/1/2013, job requires a CNA license in the state of Florida. Current employees as of 8/1/2013 can be transferred into this updated job with current education and experience.

Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Possesses good communication skills to relate to customers.

Must be able to perform EKG’s.

Computer skills, order entry and ADT function.
