Job Details
This position is for a full‑time Leasing Agent I/COS at Nohona Hale, a 111‑unit affordable family housing community in Honolulu, HI. The property is a Tax Credit / HMMF Bond property. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of related apartment leasing experience and knowledge of affordable housing. COS certification is preferred. Salary range: $19.95 – $30.40 per hour (hiring range generally $19.95 – $25.18 per hour, DOE). Salary may be adjusted based on candidate experience and current salary levels in similar roles.

Position Overview
The Leasing Agent I/COS is directly responsible for marketing and leasing the property, as well as providing resident relations services.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans and creating advertisements.

Provide property tours and show the model unit.

Log all traffic, complete follow‑up, process rental applications, and prepare leases.

Collect deposits and conduct unit inspections.

Conduct market surveys of competitors.

Participate in property inspections, move‑in/move‑out processes, and aid residents with the move‑out process.

Participate in the re‑certification process.

Qualifications

1+ year of related apartment leasing or COS experience.

Intermediate MS Office skills.

Knowledge of affordable housing.

Cos certification preferred.

Criminal Background Check Requirements
EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who have received a conditional job offer. Candidates must submit and pass these requirements, with verification of education and employment history. Certain roles may also require fingerprinting. If onsite housing is required, any household members over 18 who will live onsite must also undergo a background check and tenant screening. Successful completion of background check is a requirement of employment.

Drug Testing
All candidates who have received a conditional job offer must submit to drug testing within 72 hours of accepting the offer. EAH Housing does not test for marijuana/cannabis. Successful completion of drug testing is a requirement of employment.
