Position Overview
CLFC Healthcare & Communications is seeking a Health Services Administrator to manage the administrative operations of the healthcare department at a federal correctional institution in Cumberland, Maryland. You will coordinate staffing, manage budgets, oversee compliance reporting, and serve as the administrative link between clinical staff and facility leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily administrative operations of health services
Develop and monitor departmental budgets and procurement
Coordinate credentialing and onboarding for healthcare providers
Compile and submit BOP health services reports and quality metrics
Support ACA/NCCHC accreditation activities
Manage contracts with outside providers and reference labs
Serve as liaison between health services and facility administration
Coordinate emergency preparedness plans
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or Business
Minimum 2 years healthcare administration experience
Healthcare management systems proficiency
U.S. citizenship required
Ability to pass federal background investigation
Preferred Qualifications
MHA or MPH
Federal or correctional healthcare administration experience
NCCHC or ACA accreditation experience
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $78,000 - $100,000 annually
