Job Summary
The Assessment Clinician is responsible for interviewing incoming patients, completing a bio/social assessment, presenting assessment findings to the physician to determine programming level, and transitioning patients into the care of Nursing Staff.
Shift Information
Per Diem Nights, 7:00 pm–7:30 am.
Qualifications
You can be an RN or an MSW/LSW. Candidates must have a nursing degree (Associate, BSN or MSN) with an Ohio issued RN license or a Master’s Degree Licensed Social Worker (MSW/LSW or LISW). Prior experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, diplomacy, discretion, organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects, and a professional demeanor and appearance are required.
Responsibilities
Interview incoming patients and complete a bio/social assessment.
Present assessment findings to the physician to determine programming level.
Transition patients into the care of Nursing Staff.
