Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

Design challenging, advanced chemistry problems to test and benchmark AI performance across areas like chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry.

Develop clear, rigorous, step‑by‑step solutions that demonstrate sound scientific reasoning.

Evaluate AI‑generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning.

Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve evaluation benchmarks spanning undergraduate through master's‑level chemistry topics.

Provide structured, actionable feedback to help AI systems improve over time.

Who You Are

Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills across advanced chemistry domains.

Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely in writing.

Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and logical rigor.

Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously.

No prior AI experience required — your chemistry expertise is what matters.

Nice to Have

Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems.

Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts.

Background spanning multiple chemistry sub‑disciplines.
