We are a private group practice seeking a dedicated Trauma Informed, Mental Health Therapist to join our team as we grow. The ideal candidate will provide counseling services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions. ( EMDR required)
Responsibilities
Evaluate clients' mental health through interviews, observations, and psychometric tests.
Diagnose mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, PTSD, and others.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Conduct individual or family therapy sessions using various therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) in person and virtually.
Teach coping mechanisms, relaxation techniques, and problem-solving strategies.
Provide immediate interventions and referrals to appropriate care or emergency services.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments.
Report any necessary information to legal or medical authorities as required (e.g., mandatory reporting for abuse).
Provide psychoeducation to clients, families, and communities about mental health, wellness, and available resources.
Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in mental health care.
Participate in supervision, self-care, and peer consultation to ensure personal well-being and professional growth
