Trinity Health Livonia is a beautiful full-service, 304-bed acute care hospital located in Livonia, MI, that provides comprehensive care including a 24-hour emergency department, general medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, intensive care unit, cancer, cardiology, geriatrics and birthing and women's health. Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. Responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
The unit is a 32‑bed inpatient behavioral health unit providing comprehensive care for patients with psychiatric conditions including depression, schizophrenia, mood disorders, psychosis, and more. Treatment is delivered in structured group settings within a therapeutic milieu, fostering engagement and recovery. The unit also provides post‑ECT care, ensuring safe and supportive transitions for patients undergoing advanced treatments. Nurses in this environment play a vital role in promoting mental health, safety, and compassionate care.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associate degree in Nursing required. BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years. Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required. BLS required. Previous medical surgical experience preferred. Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.
