Overview
Our Skilled Nursing Facility is looking for a talented and hard-working Part Time or Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist to join our ever-growing team.
Responsibilities
Speech-Language Pathologists assess, diagnose, treat and help prevent speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing, fluency and other related disorders. Provide resident evaluation, assessment, care planning, education, direct treatment and consultations for general speech therapy services, including sound production, speech clarity, speech rhythm and fluency problems, voice quality problems, understanding and producing language, cognitive and communication impairments, oral motor problems resulting in eating and swallowing difficulties, etc. Provides teaching and training to family/caregiver and staff.
Qualifications
Must have graduate degree, successfully completed the required clinical experiences, and pass a national examination.
NYS License in good standing as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) offered by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
