Duties & Responsibilities
Labor and Delivery Nurses (RN) provide care and support for women before, during and after delivery. Responsibilities include:
Providing care to women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages.
Monitoring vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
Monitoring patients for potential high-risk problems.
Educating and supporting mothers and families after giving birth.
