Responsibilities:
Craft comprehensive project plans and milestone schedules.
Align team strategy with overarching business goals.
Scheduling & Coordination
Build detailed timelines, sequence tasks, and keep everyone on track.
Progress & Budget Reporting
Deliver clear status updates, flag risks early, and protect the bottom line.
Contracts, Costs & Timelines
Assist in estimates, budgets, and negotiations with suppliers and subs.
Oversee daily construction activities and resolve delays on the spot.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work with architects, engineers, and officials to secure permits and licenses.
Compliance & Documentation
Enforce safety protocols, building codes, and maintain meticulous records.
Procurement & Resource Management
Source equipment and materials, optimize inventory, and manage vendors.
Team Development
Hire, coach, and lead other project managers as well as laborers and subcontractors to superior performance.
Preferred Background
Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field -preferred
5+ years in supervisory roles on commercial projects.
Proficiency with PM software (MS Project, Procore, BIM, or similar).
Deep knowledge of codes, contracts, cost control, and risk mitigation.
Soft Skills that Matter
Persuasive communicator—written, verbal, and in the boardroom.
Skilled negotiator with suppliers and subcontractors.
Calm, organized multitasker who thrives under deadlines.
Creative problem-solver who spots issues before they elevate.
