CNC Lathe Operator

We’re hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Operator for a full?time, on?site role in Ringgold, GA. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC turning machines to produce high?precision metal components.
Pay:
$18.75 to $24/hr, DOE
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision metal parts
Load programs, make offsets, and complete tool changes
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Select tooling, speeds, and feeds based on materials and tolerances
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and precision gauges
Maintain tight tolerances and required surface finishes
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues
Perform basic maintenance and keep work area clean
Requirements:
2 years of CNC lathe operating experience
Strong understanding of CNC machining and turning operations
Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
Skilled with precision measuring tools
Experience machining steel, stainless, aluminum, and alloys
Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
Preferred:
CNC setup experience
Basic G-code editing/programming
Experience with multi-axis or live-tooling lathes
Technical or vocational machining training
Pay Details:
$19.00 to $24.00 per hour
