Lead Mechanical Engineer – Kimtech
We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to oversee the design, development, optimization, problem‑solving, and operation of equipment and supporting processes for our high‑speed consumer product manufacturing plants.

In This Role, You Will

Lead international projects from PO receipt through shipping.

Lead execution of Kimtech capital and expense projects.

Support development of a five‑year facility capital plan.

Identify cost‑saving opportunities and manage expense spending against the budget.

Lead a safety work team.

Develop equipment and processes that meet safety requirements and policies, ensuring safety and well‑being of operators and maintenance personnel.

Apply engineering principles, scientific analysis, LEAN principles, and project management to support continuous improvement.

Root‑cause and solve complex technical issues to achieve objectives.

Create knowledge‑transfer documentation and support the development of others in the field.

Support operations personnel when troubleshooting complex issues.

Provide engineering support, including being on‑call and potential shift coverage as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

4+ years of industrial experience in technical or operational assignments in a high‑speed consumer product manufacturing or staff environment.

Proven ability to work in cross‑functional teams and deliver results within required timeframes.

Flexibility to travel up to 10 % of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of high‑speed manufacturing and converting equipment, materials, and processes.

Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting updates to leadership.

Experience with plant manufacturing and staff support or capital project assignments, including maintenance, utilities, and asset support.

Experience working with external technical service providers.

Familiarity with high‑speed manufacturing equipment machine startups.

Knowledge of Kimberly‑Clark engineering procedures and processes.

Total Benefits
Eligible for a target bonus, 401(k) with employer match, profit sharing, and a range of benefits. Base pay range: $87,260 – $107,780 USD (US locations only). Additional benefit details are available at www.mykcbenefits.com.
