DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
Read technical drawings to prepare for and plan welds
Construct base templates
Put materials together within tolerances and tack weld
Inspect and test weld results
Operate a forklift and overhead crane
Document welds for projects as necessary
Maintain safe work environment by following safety processes and procedures
Inspect and ensure equipment functionality and safety before use
Record production in ERP – JobBOSS2
QUALIFICATIONS
Five years of fabrication experience
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Pass AWS tests performed by employee
Must be able to effectively read blueprints/drawings
Understand tolerances
Microsoft Office literate
Jobboss2 enterprise resource planning system experience is a plus
MIG and TIG preferred
Sub Arc is a plus
Aluminum and specialty metals experience is a plus
