Job Summary
Under moderate supervision, performs skilled electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in Water and Wastewater systems. Employee performs Journeyman-level electrical work involving moderate to complex electrical maintenance and repair operations as well as installation work. Completes in-depth and timely troubleshooting and repairs of all industrial related electrical equipment. Provides general facility maintenance activities to electrical equipment and fixtures at the Water and Wastewater facilities. Trains workers in electrical safety and maintains a clean and safe working environment. Work is often performed in cramped, dirty and noisy environments in close contact with high voltage.
Job Specifications
Five (5) years of industrial plant electrical experience performing journey-level work installing, maintaining and conducting repairs on industrial electrical systems, or a combination of education, experience, or training that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position.
Licensing and Certifications
Valid Idaho State Journeyman Electrician's license;
Must have and maintain a valid Idaho Driver’s License.
