Overview
The Counseling and Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) Department provides a continuum of essential services to the most vulnerable youth in our community, including two crisis nurseries, an emergency shelter, permanent and transitional housing, a food and clothing pantry, street outreach, and support for minor victims of commercial sexual exploitation.
Schedule
Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Sunday-Thursday, 10 am-6 pm, with flexibility to accommodate client and family needs.

Case management
Assessments and service plans
Crisis intervention
Referrals and follow-up
Aftercare
Youth transportation
Youth advocacy
Maintenance of client confidentiality
Support daily shelter activities (youth routines, supervision, meals, life skills recreations activities, etc.)
Maintenance of facility and grounds
Partnership with youth & family counselor on youth case coordination
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Human Services OR Equivalent combination of experience and education
Knowledge of youth asset development and risk reduction theory, and youth serving systems, community resources, partnerships and collaborations
A valid Driver's license
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Positive youth development
Knowledge of counseling approaches and techniques
Group facilitation and training method skills
Knowledge of community resources
Pay Rate
$22.50- $24.50 per hour
