Company Overview
A well-established plastics injection molding manufacturer in the Hartville area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join its 1st shift team. The role focuses on keeping molding machines and plant equipment running efficiently while ensuring safe, consistent production.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, auxiliary systems, and plant equipment.

Troubleshoot 480 V electrical systems, control panels, VFDs, sensors, and PLCs (Allen‑Bradley or Siemens preferred).

Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, valves, and cylinders.

Assist with mold changeovers, machine setups, and adjustments.

Support continuous improvement and downtime reduction initiatives.

Maintain detailed maintenance records and adhere to all plant safety standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting; plastics industry required.

Hands‑on experience with injection molding machinery such as Engel, Milacron, Arburg, Husky, Nissei.

Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.

Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to preventive maintenance.
