Job Summary
Gruen Associates is an award‑winning architectural, landscape architectural and planning firm in Los Angeles, CA. We are looking for a local Entry‑level Landscape Designer and Mid‑level Landscape Architect/Designer to join our multidisciplinary studio.
Location & Compensation
Los Angeles, CA | $70,000 – $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
Field investigation, research, analysis, planning, sustainable design, graphics production, construction drawings, and public engagement.
Design Process from Concept to Construction Documentation and Construction Administration.
Assist in writing project narratives and design reports.
Generate high‑quality project graphics.
Engage with clients with well‑articulated presentations and meetings.
In‑person availability required.
Qualifications
Entry‑to‑Mid‑level proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketch‑Up, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Revit, Rhino, Lumion and/or other rendering programs desired.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Landscape Architecture license is a plus.
Education
Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or Urban Planning is required.
