What’s the job?
The role supports manufacturing operations at the Granville, NY facility, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
NOTE: This opening is for the FIRST SHIFT.
The position ensures employees follow standard operating procedures, use proper PPE, maintain a safe work environment, and comply with environmental and EHS requirements, including conducting regular safety audits.
Key responsibilities include supervising shift employees, managing schedule adherence and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), facilitating problem-solving on the production floor, and performing process and product quality audits while addressing customer complaints.
The position emphasizes coaching and developing direct reports, coordinating with support departments to meet facility and corporate objectives, and actively participating in training and self-development while maintaining full understanding of safety, environmental, and quality policies.
Leads World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives, including Pillar Teams and project teams, to drive continuous improvement.
What do you bring?
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of training and work experience may substitute for degree.
5+ years experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment - required
Directly supervising, leading and developing others- 3+ years' experience- Required
Proven record of leading successful projects- Communications and Team Building skills- Required
Working knowledge of the ISO methodology- Experience in an ISO environment
WCM experience-Knowledge of TQM techniques/Lean/Six Sigma & World Class Manufacturing methodology
Pay Transparency

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,600 to $139,100. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
