Responsibilities
Work under the direction of the Manager in the Radiology department, providing general diagnostic imaging services during day, evening, midnight, and weekend shifts. Serve as point person for patient transports. Demonstrate radiation protection and safety for patients, staff, and self according to department protocols and regulatory guidelines. Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition. Perform examinations proficiently and courteously to promote the facility’s services. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency
Completion of AMA-sponsored School of Radiologic Technology
4 years experience as radiology technologist
3 years professional experience demonstrating progressive leadership background
Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, regulatory or accreditation requirements; effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages; draw and interpret bar graphs; calculate figures and percentages.
Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization; interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission, American College of Radiology (ACR), and Title 22 standards and guidelines.
Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, and interact well with the public.
Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
