Job Overview
Gas Utility Worker – Location: On Site - Doral (Miami), FL. Two positions available.
Responsibilities
Performs all duties of Laborer
Utilizes internal tooling and equipment to complete all leak survey activities
Works assigned route to complete customer and compliance orders in accordance with company policies and procedures and operator qualifications procedures
Deactivates gas service and assists in the activation of gas service
Conducts regular meter inspections, paints and maintenance of above- and below-ground gas systems
Completes basic tasks using hand tools, including leak investigation, assisting in mechanical joining, landscape maintenance and traffic control
Provides assistance with all distribution activities involved with the installation, repair and maintenance of the distribution system
Required to work overtime as needed
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Grad / GED
Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
Basic Meter Activation
Education
High School (preferred)
Experience
Meter activation (required); Previous gas experience (preferred)
Licenses & Certifications
Driver's License (required)
