Hvac Maintenance Technician

If you’re a problem-solver with a can-do attitude and a proven record of experience in the field, you might be perfect for our HVAC service technician position. Our growing HVAC company needs a service tech to meet clients at their home or place of business to troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix HVAC equipment. Strong interpersonal skills are a must in this dynamic role. You have the technical skills to identify HVAC problems and the communication skills to explain what needs to be repaired, installed, or replaced, and why.
Responsibilities

Maintain records of completed projects and parts used
Carry out customer warranty services and preventative maintenance plans
Interpret and apply electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
Perform maintenance and installation of HVAC equipment in homes and businesses
Locate and correct HVAC problems, including component installation and replacement
Qualifications

Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Able to communicate clearly and effectively, and an exceptional problem-solver
Must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification
Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs or 100 lbs with help
Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school or 1+ years experience in the field as an HVAC helper or equivalent
Must have 5+ years of experience in HVAC Service
Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly
