
HvacR Technician

Join our team of problem‑solving, hard‑working HVAC technicians. We’re looking for an experienced and professional HVAC service technician to help our growing list of customers stay comfortable. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, replacing, and repairing HVAC equipment. You’re familiar with the latest HVAC hand and power tools, identifying problems, and installing, replacing, or repairing a variety of HVAC systems and components.
Responsibilities
Identify and fix HVAC problems, including component replacement and installation
Keep record of completed projects and the parts used
Understand and employ electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
Perform maintenance and installation of HVAC equipment in homes and businesses
Test newly installed components to ensure proper function
Diagnose and repair a variety of equipment
Execute maintenance and installation of HVACR equipment at various locations
Quote customers for the cost of HVACR repairs, replacements, and services
Enter completed projects and parts used into the database
Refrigeration and ice machine knowledge and experience
Qualifications
The candidate must have excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, and a can‑do attitude
Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must have required state and local HVAC technician licenses
Must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification
Earned HVAC school degree or 1+ years experience in the field as an HVAC helper or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years experience
Compensation
$25 - $35 hourly DOE
