Job Summary
Helps with the logistical and administrative aspect of clinical trials and studies, ensuring adherence to protocols and regulatory requirements. Helps facilitate participant recruitment, consent processes, and documentation management. Coordinates study visits, monitors adverse events, and maintains accurate records for successful study outcomes.
Responsibilities
Coordinate fundamental technical and administrative details in clinical trials or research studies with some supervision.
Assist Principal Investigators in achieving study objectives by implementing and completing study protocols and procedures.
Review protocols for clarity and subject safety, addressing concerns with the PI and sponsor.
Participate in recruitment and consent processes.
Maintain detailed and accurate study documentation.
Coordinate study visits and ensure the availability of necessary resources.
Report and track adverse events with guidance.
Complete and audit CRFs for accuracy.
Assist in preparing and submitting IRB documents.
Ensure proper collection, processing, and shipment of specimens.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Preferences: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) with up to 2 years of directly related work experience or a master’s (or equivalency) degree.
Other Requirements
This position may require the successful completion of a criminal background check and/or drug screen.
