Mechanical Engineering Internship
June 1 – August 2026, starting June 2.
Program Details
Our summer internships offer a challenging, high‑impact opportunity to work on important projects at Dentsply Sirona. In addition to hands‑on learning, interns participate in an event series focused on personal and professional development. At the end of the internship, interns present their accomplishments to senior leadership.
Intern Responsibilities
Gather drawings from the network and organize them by machine or product line
Compare drawings to actual machine parts or product components and redline them if needed
Modify drawings according to reviewed redlines
Work adeptly in SolidWorks vault
Design and draft small parts/bracketing drawings
Participate in a machine build with a multidisciplinary team
Shadow engineering on production support and problem solving
Qualifications / Requirements
Currently enrolled in an engineering associate’s or bachelor’s degree program
Experience with SolidWorks
Ability to work 40 hours a week beginning in June 2026, for approximately 13 weeks
GPA 3.0 preferred
Demonstrated leadership experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Interest in a dynamic, challenging work environment
Good time‑management and organization skills with the ability to multi‑task
Microsoft Suite experience preferred
Experience in and/or leading team projects
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
