Job Description
As a Senior Supervisor at Honeywell Aerospace, you will oversee the Instrument Assurance Lab and Metrology team, focusing on calibrating, troubleshooting, repairing, and certifying production equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will report directly to the Operations Support Leader and work out of Minneapolis, MN on an on‑site schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the Instrument Assurance Lab and Metrology team to ensure timely calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and certification of production equipment.
Lead and develop the team to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability in all metrology and instrumentation activities.
Implement and monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality standards within the lab environment.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
Manage documentation and record‑keeping related to calibration and certification activities to ensure traceability and audit readiness.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in managing calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and certification of production instrumentation and metrology equipment.
Strong knowledge of instrumentation assurance processes and metrology standards to ensure precision and compliance.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a technical team effectively.
Experience with quality management systems and regulatory compliance related to calibration labs.
Familiarity with relevant tools and software used in instrumentation calibration and metrology activities.
Preferred Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
The annual base salary range for this position is $89,600 – $111,800. Salary is determined according to scope, responsibilities, experience, education, and market considerations.
