Title: Experienced Maintenance Technician - Day Shift

Location: Milton, VT
Salary Range: $32 - $38 per hour
Day Shift: 5:30AM to 1:30PM
In this role you will identify and repair malfunctions, maintaining CNC equipment and facilities to provide maximum asset utilization.
Key Responsibilities
Expert Knowledge of OEM machine controllers (FANUC, Siemens and Allen Bradley)
Perform advanced mechanical repairs (and rebuilds) on Magerle, Okuma, Makino and other machines
Extensive experience pulling and replacing machine linear guides and ball screws
Support with scheduling PM, reading reports, diagrams and drawings
Expert knowledge of tool probing function for CNC Machines
Advanced knowledge of complex NC machines up to & including 5 axis and large surface grinders
Expert knowledge of machine leveling and alignment on all CNC machines
Identify and replace parts as necessary
Advanced knowledge of install, troubleshoot, repair and maintenance of machine tool equipment and controls
Expert knowledge of machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues
General facilities maintenance
Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work
Work ethic based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions and priorities
Extensive experience with continuous improvement of PM instructions and schedules to prevent failures
Advanced knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems
Qualifications
High school diploma or high school equivalency required
License in a relevant trade preferred
Valid Driver’s License
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Ability to climb ladders, operate hand and power tools
Physical demands including standing, sitting, lifting, bending, and climbing
8+ years of CNC machine maintenance experience required
10+ years of relevant work experience in a metal working manufacturing environment preferred
