Hours: 40 per week, 8‑hour days
Shift: 8 hours per day
Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapist (PT)
Required Qualifications
Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate degree in physical therapy
Any experience in physical therapy; New Graduates are welcome
Other certifications or licenses may be required
Essential Work Functions
Evaluate patients’ conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
Assess progress, adjust plans as necessary, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management strategies.
Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities to stay current with best practices.
Collaborate in discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home settings.
Perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned.

Mental: Handle frequent contact with the public, meet deadlines under pressure, work with and without close supervision, handle irregular schedules, maintain continuous concentration on detail.
