Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, has provided quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Texoma Medical Center has facilities throughout the Texoma region. The center offers major specialty services including open heart surgery and neurosurgery, with advanced resources such as certified trauma care support for the regional specialty center.

The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Qualifications
The Clinical Supervisor will assume shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to the patient, family, care partner and appropriate others. Coordinate multi-disciplinary team members, direct and facilitate nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal healthcare outcomes. Support activities that meet the facility vision, mission and goals. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversee and guide employees that are under supervision.

Current RN licensure in the State of Texas, or compact required, BSN preferred.

Two years experience in acute care specialty nursing.

One year charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.

Must maintain all clinical competencies for area of supervision.

Current RQI BLS, ACLS and PALS, certifications. TNCC required on hire

Must maintain all additional certifications required by area of supervision.

Clinical certification in area of supervision preferred (i.e., CEN, TCEN, etc.)

Must be clinically competent in area of population served.

Must demonstrate knowledge and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.

Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate team leadership.

Must have the ability to problem solve and think critically.

Must possess basic computer application skills.
