Position summary
Responsible for various tasks and projects to enhance their experience in the field utilizing their education.
Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.
Essential functions and responsibilities
Enter data into systems
Make edits and updates to existing engineering models and drawing
Assist with technical report development
Conduct field visits
Assemble data and research
Assist with administrative duties
Provide input on solutions to problems using basic theories and engineering fundamentals
Develop and prepare specifications
Maintain accurate and current project documentation
Nonessential functions and responsibilities
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
None specified.
Required Experience
High school graduate or college student enrolled (or intending to enroll) pursuing a degree in civil engineering or related field.
Preferred Experience
Coursework in related field
Previous internship experience
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
