Job Description
Johnson Becker, PLLC protects rights of individuals wrongfully injured and guides clients through every step. We seek a mass tort team member to assist attorneys in all aspects of case management, from opening files and ordering records to reviewing medical records, preparing discovery and drafting pleadings, and providing ongoing client updates.
Job Responsibilities
Paralegals and legal assistants work closely with attorneys on case preparation, extensive review of medical records, completion of court‑ordered discovery, and assistance with all legal documents related to complex mass tort/product liability claims. The role requires frequent client communication via phone, email, and letters to explain stages of litigation and keep cases moving forward.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants must possess a paralegal certificate. Preference is given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, and experience in medical‑records review and federal electronic filing. Candidates must be able to sit for long periods with ongoing computer work, including typing, printing, scanning, mail processing, and lifting up to approximately 10 pounds. Strong verbal and written communication, empathy, data analysis, organization, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are essential. Experience drafting and filing pleadings in federal court via the Electronic Case Filing system (ECF) is required.

Full‑time non‑exempt salaried position. In‑office. Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Possibility of mandatory overtime. Competitive compensation based on experience.
