Casualty and Mass Tort Litigation Practice Group
Seeking an experienced
Litigation Paralegal
to join our
Casualty and Mass Tort Litigation Practice Group
in the
Houston office. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of the litigation process and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys through all phases of litigation: case inception, discovery, resolution, trial, post-trial, and closure
Prepare and file court documents, including assembling exhibits
Draft and respond to discovery requests (interrogatories, document requests, etc.)
Assist in deposition, hearing, and mediation preparation and support
Coordinate with process servers
Perform Bates labeling and document organization
Review and summarize depositions and medical records
Manage case dockets, calendars, and litigation tracking systems
Maintain production logs and coordinate electronic discovery efforts
Qualifications
Bachelors or Associates degree preferred;
Paralegal Certificate highly desired
Minimum of
3 years of paralegal experience
in litigation
Strong understanding of the full litigation lifecycle, including case management, document review, and trial support
Proficiency in
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Personal Attributes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational ability
Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed
