Position Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Administrative Support Specialist for the Mental Health and Wellbeing Services. This position will provide purchasing, human resource, and budgeting support for Mental Health and Wellbeing Services. It will provide administrative support to the Director and work closely with associate directors and counselors. It will assist in the administration of prevention and early intervention initiatives and programs such as itMatters, BASICS/CASICS, UScreen, and Wellbeing/Wellness Coaching programs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support and assist in the administration of prevention and early intervention initiatives and programs of Mental Health and Wellbeing services.

Maintain program evaluation spreadsheets for MH and Wellbeing programs.

Manage materials, supplies, room scheduling, and event planning.

Provide administrative support for professional development and travel (registration, TRV preparation, reimbursement).

Provide purchasing and ordering support and maintain a PCard.

Complete BanFin forms, maintain contracts, and disburse program gift certificates.

Assist unit organization, scheduling, planning and coordination of events and projects.

Maintain calendars for Mental Health and Wellbeing services leadership team.

Provide customer service and support for position recruitment, onboarding, training, and HR functions.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a university environment.

Proficiency with Excel, Banner 9, and web‑based applications.

Customer service etiquette and Mental Health and Well‑Being knowledge.

Experience with project management.

Compensation and Work Hours
Recruitment Range: $40,059 - $42,000. Work Hours: 8 A.M. – 5 P.M., M‑F. Full time (FTE 1.000), Non‑Exempt. Work Environment: Inside.
