
Social Worker III - Adult Services

Responsibilities
This position provides advanced, professional level casework for disabled adults found to be at risk for or victims of neglect, abuse, or exploitation;
Serves as the guardian representative for adults ensuring all physical, mental, and well being needs are provided;
Identifies risk and provides safety interventions to adults in a family and out of home settings;
Works regularly in the field conducting home visits, etc.
Prepares reports and testifies at court hearings;
Prepares and maintains ongoing documentation of workload activities;
Provides referrals and engages with community partners;
Monitors facilities, investigates and responds to complaints
Performs other duties as assigned, which may include shelter duty.
Qualifications
Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work
OR a Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and completion of the Child Welfare Collaborative (Child Welfare positions only)
OR a Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and one year directly related experience
OR a Master's degree in a human services field and one year of directly related experience
OR a Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university and two years directly related experience
OR a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of directly related experience
Criminal records check, drug screen, and references will be required for the successful candidate.
Diplomas and degrees must be received from accredited institutions.
