The
Business Development Manager
will be responsible for achieving profitable growth performance objectives within their assigned territory (NE and CO). The Business Development Manager is accountable for profitably growing their assigned Workers’ Compensation portfolio by identifying new agency relationships, building on existing ones, and the overall development and management of professional business relationships. This role will create and implement tactical plans in support of long-term territory specific strategies.
This position offers a
home-based work opportunity .
The successful candidate must reside in the assigned territory which includes the states of Nebraska and Colorado.
Frequent travel with some overnight stays will be required (50-75% travel).
Five or more years of previous insurance
underwriting ,
marketing/business development , sales,
workers’ compensation
insurance experience, or other related experience required.
Strong influencing, sales and presentation skills
Proven decision making and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
The posted annual salary represents the starting range for this role. Pay may be higher based on experience and qualifications.
